Through a container pack, you and your loved ones can safely serve! Come as a family, assemble some friends, gather your small group, bring your club...everyone can serve together in smaller groups of up to 9 people, while wearing face coverings and groups being socially distanced from one another! Together you can extend love to families struggling due to COVID!

What is a container pack?

A container pack is when your city comes together to pack 300,000 nutritious meals! The 40 foot container, now filled with shelf-stable meals, is then shipped to help feed hungry families around the world.

This is an opportunity for you to serve safely with those you know! Come as a family, assemble some friends, gather your small group or bring your club! Everyone can serve together in smaller groups of up to 9 people, while wearing face coverings and groups being socially distanced from one another! 

It's 3 simple steps:


Gather a group of 2-9 people to pack meals! These should be people you feel comfortable packing at the same station with! Have one person sign up your group for a shift. Shifts are staggered so each group enters the meal packing facility separately.

• $91 feeds a child for 1 year

• $54 provides 1 box of meals

• $13 feeds a household for a week

How do the meals you pack impact communities in Honduras?

The meals you pack empower pastors and local leaders to go into their communities, distribute meals and pray with people who are struggling to make ends meet. Many people in these communities can only afford food after a full day's work, and on a day-to-day basis. Due to COVID-19, there is a lack of work opportunities and food insecurity is rapidly rising. 

Is there a way I can participate if I am unable to attend?

Yes! By donating towards the Columbus Container Pack, you enable others to pack meals! 300,000 meals takes a lot of people coming together to pack and fund each meal. Your donation of any size makes a tremendous impact! Together we can make an impact in this growing global need!

Every meal is given in Jesus name, and it does more than satisfy a hungry belly...it enables a child to sleep at night, focus in school, and dream of a brighter tomorrow.

We want everyone to serve! Therefore, we’ve created a safe place for you to pack meals which adheres to Ohio guidelines: all packing stations are 6+ feet apart and hand washing, face coverings, and gloves are mandatory for all packers. Additional questions? Contact mealpack.columbus@lifeline.org
