Foreign Field & Ministry Projects:

Haiti:

-Pastor Firmin Louis’ mother passed away this week.  Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

-Keep the Home Building Ministry in prayer!  Thank the Lord for the many provisions for rebuilding!

 

Honduras:

-Carlos had his truck stolen while he was shopping in San Pedro, Sula.  Please pray for it to be returned or the finances to replace it.

-Pray for Carlos and Paty as they pastor at Omoa Christian Church and pray the church will grow in attendance.

-Pray for the security of facilities and safety of the employees and students.

-Pray for the growth of the Choloma church.

-Pray for Maya Orellana’s residency papers in Honduras.

-Pray for Carlos Cojon’s residency papers. 

 

El Salvador

-Pray for Jose’s father, as he is very ill and Jose is making plans to travel back to Panama to be with him.

-Pray for God’s protection for His people and the church leaders.

-Pray for the legal status of the bus.  Jose has been having many meetings to get the process completed.  They have temporary permission to use the bus for church purposes until November. 

 

Cuba

-There are 33 students in the bible seminary.  Please keep them in your prayers.

-Pray that God will protect the leaders of the House Churches and provide continued growth in number and maturity.

 

United States & Governmental:

-Pray for safety in travels as Bob and Gretchen go to Canada next week.

-Virginia DeLong recovering from heart attack and surgery.

-Pray for Charles Skinner as he is having more difficulty with memory and getting around.

-Bo McComas has a growth on his vocal chords. Pray for healing.

-Jackie Christian personal and health issues.

-Pray for funds for people desiring to serve on the mission field.

-Mathias Petty-spiritual growth, God’s protection & guidance and that he would be a witness to others.

-Esther DeVoe is in Manor Care Nursing Home.

-Travis Barrell, spiritual growth and protection.

-Deb Endicott – healing for her heart, protection and guidance/wisdom for the doctors caring for her.

 

Projects and Development:

-Increased staff sponsors/offset support

-Continued Haiti Relief funds to help with shipping and reconstruction

-Funds to complete CaryHill to accommodate more teams and staff.

-Columbus Ohio Golf Outing Sept. 27^th; North Carolina Golf Outing October 4^th.

-Food Bagging Events:  Fall Food Bagging Events.

 

Governmental:

-President and other leaders: that they will have wisdom, favor, clear direction, good health, safety in travels and be surrounded by godly counsel.

-Pray for the biblical issues at stake in this nation including the sanctity of human life, removal of God from public places & schools and the marriage amendment.

-Pray for the persecuted Christians around the world.
