Celebrating "Bible Day"
In Honduras, national holidays are a time of celebration! But our educational staff, take it a step further... it is an opportunity to learn and to share God's love.
Darwyn, our Directer of Schools in Honduras, shares how the staff took a Honduran celebration to the next level:
"In Honduras, we have the privilege and blessing to celebrate 'Bible Day', which is the last Sunday in September. It is written in our national law and describes a day for this celebration.

Students and staff created murals, banners, etc. We then walked around our school communities in Ocotillo and Gonzales. These students were a visible testimony and blessing for the Bible."
Our younger students in kindergarten to sixth grade also participated in a special Bible class about God's creation. They created crafts and hung decorations in the library. God's Word is coming alive to these students!
We appreciate our staff who are investing in your sponsored children! These students are learning through fun and creativity, while demonstrating their faith to the community!
Child sponsorship is an integral part of our school community, as it provides much of the funding for the school and staff. Yet many of our Honduran students are not sponsored, which can leave gaps in the educational experience we want to provide the children. Will you sponsor a child or encourage a friend to be a sponsor? Find your child.
