Change a child's tomorrow by hosting a sponsorship drive!

You will open the door for others to personally encourage and invest in the life of a child! Their connection to the child will provide opportunities that the child may never otherwise have. And it will all stem from your courage to host a drive.

What is a sponsorship drive?

• An opportunity for the church and those within the church to engage in changing a child's tomorrow
• An event, hosted by a church, business, or organization serving the primary purpose of getting children sponsored
• Bring awareness to Lifeline's ministries and how children are being blessed daily

Why should I host a sponsorship drive? How does it benefit my church/group?

• Advocate for children in need; be a voice for the voiceless
• Assist in the provision of quality education, access to health care, spiritual growth, and nutrition
• Create an opportunity for sponsors to engage in a relationship with a child by sharing their heart for Jesus
• Engage volunteers 
• Partner with Lifeline in sparking lives on mission for God
• Bring a global perspective to your church/group
• Build community within your church
• Serve in ministry together through mission trips or sponsor gatherings

Who is able to host a drive?

• Churches: a church member or Lifeline representative can host a drive at your church
• Businesses: professionals, owners, companies may sponsor or encourage employees to partner
• Privately: host a drive party in your home or through social media
• Schools: elementary through college
• Other: let's be creative!

"When I'm at a sponsorship drive, I especially take joy in seeing God move. You just never know how God is going to connect a sponsor with a child's photo at the display. It could be through a similar birthday, a name, a smile that jumps off the page, or their eyes. God softens hearts and it’s truly beautiful to see how He works.

Recently, I had the special privilege of promoting child sponsorship at a church in northeast Ohio. After the service, a woman approached our sponsorship table with tears in her eyes. God had given her a heart for refugee families and asked if Lifeline serves any children who are refugees. We grabbed a photo of Cesar, one of our students who is a Venezuelan refugee in our school in Ecuador. It was the very photo she had seen in the service that made her cry in the first place! God had placed this child on her heart and she did not know that he was a refugee. We all rejoiced for how God moved and how this woman responded in obedience!"
