Fall fun at Red Sands Christian School

Our staff at Red Sands Christian School have created a fun learning environment through creative, hands on projects. ...all while planting seeds of God's love.  Here is a sampling of the fun they have had this fall:

pumpkins

There is so much to learn by watching a simple seed grow. This spring, one of our mission team planted pumpkin seeds. The students watered them and watched them grow! After all their hard work, each family will receive a pumpkin to take home.

The upcoming benefit concert and dinner to support the new school has the student students using their creativity. The students are creating crafts to sell, along with making decorations for the event, too. The kids will also perform and have been diligently practicing their songs. Mrs. Springer, one of our teacher's shares, "Listening to them sing is a true blessing. I always figured from their lips to Gods ears!"

Native American week

In September, the school celebrated Native American week.  Through games, crafts, and art projects, the students gained a deeper appreciation of the Native American culture. Each day held different activities and culminated with a culture celebration on Friday.

A highlight of this school year has been a new, daily worship time. The staff and students have explored Genesis from creation through Joseph. Not only are the students worshiping God, they are hiding His Word in their hearts: the older students have memorized Genesis chapters 1-3!

We appreciate our staff who are investing in your sponsored children! These students are learning through fun and creativity, while demonstrating their faith to the community!  Right now, the school has an incredible opportunity to influence more students.  You can come alongside the students and staff to expand the school's capacity!
