Honduran students celebrate Holy Week

The middle and high school students at Ocotillo Christian School (Honduras) retold the story of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross through plays presented to the entire school and the parents.  Every day a portion of the Bible was read to represent each play starting from Matthew 26:17- Matthew 28 to all the students at school. Each grade did an amazing job and teachers as well, memorizing and helping in the plays.

In Honduras, we want to share with you how our students are remembering Jesus' sacrifice.  As we celebrate the Holy Week, we remember Jesus' passion and His gift of grace that grants all people eternal life through Him.

Starting with the holy supper... 

Jesus prays at Gethsemane.  The students act to represent Jesus' passion.

He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled. Mathew 26:37

The students continue representing all the steps Jesus took to show His love to us.

Crucifiction day

He lives!  For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 

The primary (elementary) students created some murals to express God's amazing love for us.  Glory to our God who died for us and gives eternal life

We are proud of our students and how they brought Jesus' love to life for our school!
