Honduras Goes Above and Beyond
Our Honduran brothers and sisters are truly going above and beyond to help their communities during this pandemic. Read about just a few of the ways they are sharing the love of Christ in Honduras even in the midst of COVID-19!
It is becoming increasingly difficult to get food in Honduras in the midst of the chaos surrounding COVID-19. However, the church is loving like Jesus; they are sharing food with their neighbors, friends, and others in need!
Baptisms
6 new believers were baptized in response to Easter services in Honduras! 3 baptisms were in Guangolola and 3 were in San Antonio del Peru in the mountains; these two churches are in rural areas. The pastors had small meetings with each family. Pray for these brave new brothers and sisters in Christ!
Food for the Community
Lifeline's Honduran leaders put together bags of food and other essentials and gave them to those in need. They distributed the last of the Lifeline meals and peanut butter jars they had. A few days later they received a container full of food, which will give them the opportunity to continue to share hope and take the gospel to the communities hit hard by this emergency.
From baptizing new brothers and sisters in Christ to distributing bags of food to hungry families, our Honduran brothers and sisters are sharing the love and hospitality of Christ even in the midst of such challenging times.
