Meet Dilia and her daughter Neïka!

"My name is Dilia. I’d like to introduce you to my daughter Neïka. Neïka is 12 years old and is in the 5th grade at Lifeline Christian Mission’s school in the town of Deuxième-Plaine, Haiti. Neïka is a remarkable girl. Even though she is young, she behaves like an adult. Every morning, before doing anything else, she works hard to get her household chores done and even helps her younger brother get ready for school.

I know that when she is an adult, she will be a model for others who will want to follow her. Please pray that she continues to love God and stay on His path, which will lead her to success in life.

I chose to put Neïka in Lifeline’s school because it was not expensive, which means that I am able to afford the fees. I really appreciate the Christian education she receives from qualified teachers who are dedicated to doing their job well. Neïka always tells me that if there is one place she enjoys being most, it is her school!

Before coming to Lifeline’s school, Neïka attended a different school but struggled to get good grades. I knew that some neighbor children who attended Lifeline’s school were doing well, so I decided to transfer her! I was amazed at how she improved and how her behavior has changed. She became very kind and supportive of others. The school has had such a positive impact on Neïka’s social and spiritual life. I am fortunate to have a Lifeline Christian school in my community!"
