School update from Arizona: April 2018

At times, the ministry and work can feel daunting. Yet, through all the uncertainty, we're still excited about the future for the school! One day, these students will be leading our community, and you will be part of the reason that they became a leader and influencer to transform families and our community for Christ. Continue to keep the school, staff and these students in your prayers!

School registration is open
School registration is open
Each April, we focus our attention on registering students for the upcoming school year. This year has been especially critical, as we have many additional openings due to the new, larger facility that opens this fall. Through mailings and word of mouth, we've been busy getting the word out. It's crucial for families to register now, as we plan and prepare for the upcoming school year. Unfortunately, many parents wait until the end of the summer to register, which brings many challenges for the school staff.
Please pray for registrations to increase and parents/students to register now!
Construction is about to begin
Construction is about to begin
The architectural drawings are nearly done! A team arrives in May to start interior demolition and to begin framing walls on the new facility. It will be exciting to see the building start to take shape!
Please pray for safety for the workers and that no building surprises will derail the project or skyrocket costs. We also need additional teams with construction experience, along with furnishings donated for the classrooms, gym, and commercial kitchen. Simply let us know if you have any connections or resources.
Donations are lagging
Since our last update, we are thankful for the $14,295 which has been donated to assist with renovations of the new facility and the tuition/operating shortfall for the existing school year (read more). However, this still shows a deficiency in donations, as $120,000 is needed to assist with tuition and $350,000 is needed for the renovations. Additional cuts would be unavoidable and would hinder the impact of the school. But we are leaning into God's wisdom on how to proceed and trusting Him for His provision. As you know, it's just hard to wait for His timing!Donations are lagging
