Sponsor updates from the mission field: November 2017

Red Sands School
Arizona

Audra (Lifeline's Sponsorship Development Director) and Lukas (Sponsorship Relationship Manager) were blessed to visit the Red Sands Christian School for the first time!  They had the opportunity to know the children when, for the past 3 years, they've only seen the children's faces on photo cards.  They helped in the classrooms, challenged the students in archery, played on the playground and even sat for life portraits to be drawn!

The children are excited about the potential new school building in the town of Winslow, as donations continue to come in to support the cause.  Thank you to all who have given to make this happen!  We still have a ways to go, but we are feeling very excited about the future!  God is on the move in Arizona, and the enemy knows it so please continue to keep the children, staff and ministries covered in prayer!  If you are able, please donate towards this new building; we need all the funds by the purchase deadline, which is approaching quickly!

Guatemala
The church was blessed to have their sponsors from New Day Christian Church (Florida) visit recently!  A wonderful time was spent with the children and their families, as relationships continue to grow.  We are thankful for New Day's partnership in ministry with Pastor Deybee and the church in San Juan Pinula.

Haiti
Our school year in Haiti is moving along as smoothly as it ever has!  We are thankful for a recent opportunity that some of our school staff had to experience training in a progressive school in Haiti.  They are excited to share what they've learned with our teachers in the classroom, and we are hoping to send more teachers for training in the near future.  These opportunities help revive the passion for teaching and, in turn, that passion is shared with our students and learning continues to be fun.  If you would like to invest in our teachers, then please read more.

Honduras
The school children in Honduras have wrapped up another fantastic school year!  We are so thankful for the amazing staff who takes such wonderful care of the children, schools, churches and clinic.  The children are excited to take holiday with their families and begin classes again in February.  We want to honor Skarleth Ebelina Arteaga for her 15 years of service to Lifeline in Honduras.  We pray many blessings for her as she transitions to the university and bilingual school outside of Tegucigalpa.  We will miss her dearly around Ocotillo, but look forward to seeing how God will grow her in her gifts and abilities to lead.  Please pray for Ebelina as she prepares for this new phase of life.

Thank you, sponsors, for loving the children and giving them the opportunity to know and love Jesus!
