Meet Danna Suarez (3rd grade)

“Danna is one of our students with special needs. She has a learning disability which makes it hard for her to read and write.

She also has challenges socially. Last year the school was trying to decide if she should move on to the next grade, not knowing if she was ready or not. Eventually they made the decision to move her to the next grade level.

Danna’s teacher this year felt God was challenging her to give Danna extra attention. As a result, Danna started to learn faster! When her parents started to see their daughter becoming more successful, they became more interested in helping her at home.

Now Danna plays and relates with her classmates and has gained self-esteem. She is doing much better with her academics. Danna still has struggles but now she knows for sure her parents love her and through that she is learning God loves and cares for her.”

El Salvador

“We thank God for the lives of the children in Chalchuapa and San Julian. They have participated in fun activities at the church recently. We ask for prayer over the viruses that came to our country and are affecting the lives of the children. We also pray that God will always put food on every table. Thank you for your prayers and support!”

Haiti

Students in Lifeline’s school in Port-au-Prince gathered together to learn about Lifeline’s sponsorship program. Students were taught about the love of Christ and how we can share Jesus’ love with others. They learned about the importance of giving and being generous to others. Then, they were blessed by the generosity of supporters who helped provide gifts. These gifts are tools to help share the Gospel and the love of Christ. Afterwards, some of the children shared their gifts with other classmates. It was a beautiful thing for our Haitian Lifeline staff to witness. Thank you for your generosity!




Honduras

The middle school students at Gonzales Christian School are excited about their new classrooms! The parents worked hard to fundraise and initiate the building of these classrooms. The visiting mission team celebrated the day with the students through a ribbon cutting ceremony.
