You keep ministry momentum moving when you support the ministry of our stateside missionaries: our Lifeline staff who dedicate their lives 24/7 to restoring hope around the world. Your prayers and donations enable our staff to be your hands and feet, as God's love is shared through Lifeline's ministry communities!

Taylor shares:

Moving to Colorado to pursue my Master’s Degree in Social Work has been an amazing experience! Because of what I’ve learned in school, along with my experiences in Haiti and Honduras through Lifeline Christian Mission, I’ve been offered an amazing opportunity...one I would like to invite you to be a part of.

During the eight years I’ve served at Lifeline, it has been my passion and dream to work in the field to walk alongside the nationals...dreaming with them to create more sustainable solutions to support their ministry growth. After years of waiting, I finally have a chance!

This summer, I will be creating a long-term plan to add vocational training opportunities for the girls at Lifeline’s children’s home in Honduras! The laws in Honduras are changing which requires us to phase in some changes to the children’s home in the coming years. My role will be to ensure that the children’s home is compliant with these mandatory changes. This is a great opportunity make the children’s home more sustainable AND create vocational opportunities for the community.

The best part? I will work alongside Yvette, a Honduran Social Worker! I am so excited! I will help design a more sustainable ministry AND practice social work in another country! This is an amazing opportunity!

I have already begun the discussion with Yvette: what are other organizations have similar programs and what are her ideas to create sustainability? To better understand the culture and community, I will travel to Honduras for part of the summer to visit these organizations and learn more about the community and its needs. Once I return home, Yvette and I will create a transitional plan for Lifeline to ensure the children’s home is compliant with these upcoming changes and create sustainable opportunities for the community.

I would love you to be part of this adventure with me! It has been my dream to use my education and work experience to impact others….now I finally have the opportunity! I appreciate any way you are able to help make this dream possible while changing the lives of the girls at our children’s home, along with the community!

Thank you so much!
