You keep ministry momentum moving when you support the ministry of our stateside missionaries: our Lifeline staff who dedicate their lives 24/7 to restoring hope around the world. Your prayers and donations enable our staff to be your hands and feet, as God's love is shared through Lifeline's ministry communities!

Ellie shares:

Hi there friends!

I was born and raised in Texas. When I was 10, my parents decided to move to Singapore for business.

It was in this overseas church context that I experienced my first short-term mission trip to Indonesia, which marked me for the rest of my life. I met God in the eyes of children my age who had everything stripped away from them by the 2004 tsunami in Southeast Asia. I never forgot how difficult it was to witness their tangible joy amidst their harsh environment.

A year later, God had other plans and moved my family to Southern California before I started middle school. Upon returning to the States, I was determined to seek the Lord again in the same way I met Him overseas. As it was, I continued to attend church settings that supported mission work and eagerly signed up for every short-term trip until I graduated high school.

In college, I completed my masters in Speech-Language Pathology and also led dorm Bible studies. Being involved in speech therapy and parachurch ministry gave me robust experience serving in healthcare and the marketplace. To this day I look forward to working with patients in a geriatric setting and pouring into the next generation at my church.

Fast forward to present day Southern California. I was introduced to Lifeline during a mobile meal packing event hosted at my home church in Anaheim. At the time, I was an apprentice in the church’s missions department and kept sensing God prompting me towards vocational ministry.

By the Lord’s favor, my church’s director of missions learned of an opening at Lifeline that fit my skill set. Praise God as it's been an absolute joy. Lifeline embodies my greatest passion to create opportunities for people to serve and experience God’s movement in fresh and new ways.

My greatest hope is for everyone who partners with Lifeline to experience how high, how wide, how deep, and how powerful God’s love is through connecting with their community, local church, and the global church at large. The heartbeat of Lifeline is for Everyone. Everywhere.

I thank you in advance for being an active conduit of a Kingdom culture that shepherds safe, fun, and caring environments for all peoples to engage in.

On the daily, I’m an avid reader, runner, and leader of a crazy high school small group. I enjoy designing and being a part of short-term missions experiences, and am a regular at my fridge.
