Brian and Keri Owens

Brian serves on our Mobilization Experience Team and Keri serves on our Centre Mobilization Team.

Brian and Keri share:

We were both introduced to Lifeline in 2017 through a Lifeline meal pack at our church, where I (Keri) was on staff. In 2018, I became further involved with a project called BeFriend which involved my church, Lifeline, and Life in Abundance. The BeFriend project benefited the community of Adjumani, Uganda. That same year, I went to Uganda to meet the beautiful people of Adjumani. 

This trip forever changed me in a very profound way. It opened my eyes to see things from a different perspective. My prayer when I returned was that the Lord would continue to stir in me a heart for the nations. 

In 2019, Brian joined me to help lead a mission team to Adjumani. What a gift it was to serve alongside him in one of my favorite places on earth! 

After that trip, we started praying about what it would look like to work together in ministry one day, maybe in 10 years. God answered that prayer much sooner than what we thought. “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” – Proverbs 16:9. 

He has answered this prayer by allowing us to be a small part of what He is doing locally and globally each and every day. We are blown away by His goodness!!!

We are excited to see how God will use us in His story to grow His kingdom. But most importantly, we are excited to be a part of connecting people to Lifeline’s mission and opportunities to serve. We were all created with and for a purpose, and this purpose is much bigger than ourselves.  

On a personal note, we have 2 adult children, and we gained a son-in-law in November 2021. We love to travel, visit new places, and spend time outdoors. Now that our children are grown, our family vacation usually consists of being on a beach somewhere.
