Sarah Barber

The goodness of God is so evident in my story, and I couldn’t be more excited to have intersected with Lifeline Christian Mission. 

Fresh out of college with a degree in Graphic Design, I was unsure of how the Lord was going to use this newly developed skill. I had countless paths in front of me. Fast forward 18 months, I met and married my husband, Peter, a missionary-kid from Brazil, and we moved half-way across the country to Littleton, Colorado, to attend Denver Seminary. While my husband attended classes, I went to work for a Christian non-profit helping assist missionaries with their communication efforts. During this time I help hundreds of missionaries spruce up and improve anything from postcards, flyers, field updates and monthly e-mails.  Despite the fact that I was only with this organization for three years, I felt the Lord ignite a passion in me of helping to upgrade design and creativity within church culture. 

Like all good stories, I then experienced a slight yet delightful detour. I became a mom. My husband I welcomed our first daughter in 2010, with two more children to follow in 2012 and 2015. Over the past decade I have been a stay-at-home Manager, oh, I mean Mom, to three wonderfully vibrant, strong-willed children. And I have loved (almost) every second of it. 

But as it seems, God’s story continues to unfold in my life with this newest chapter. I believe the Lord uses His people for His purposes and His glory. And I believe God has called me to use my expertise and gifts in design and communication to help magnify the mission and message of Lifeline.
