Grand-Goâve
Lifeline in Grand-Goâve
Along with countries like Afghanistan, Ukraine, and Venezuela, Haiti is currently at a Level 4 Travel Advisory (Do Not Travel) by the U.S. State Department. This is the highest advisory level due to the greater likelihood of life-threatening risks. The highest risks, especially in the major cities in the country, include gang wars, kidnapping, violent crime (such as armed robbery and carjacking), civil unrest, and other dangers.
Because of the seriousness of the situation on the ground in Haiti, the safety of our leaders is of utmost priority. Therefore, we are not comfortable sharing detailed information about specific locations and services Lifeline offers in Haiti as this could compromise the safety of Lifeline's leaders there. If you would like to know more, please feel free to contact Lifeline's VP of Field Ministries at brad.hammond@lifeline.org.
