Bringing Hope Through Meals
The statistics can feel overwhelming, but today we want to share a story of hope from Guatemala, one made possible because of our generous Lifeline partners!
Pastor Bryan, one of the local leaders in San Jose Conception, was recently able to share Lifeline meals with the students at a local school in El Sombrerito—a small community where many families don’t have steady access to food.
Pastor Bryan said, “when the meals arrived at the school, the kids’ excitement was immediate. They held onto them tightly, talked about sharing them with their families, and carefully packed them away to take home!”
The school director shared how meaningful it was for these children to be seen and cared for. In a place that’s often overlooked, these meals were a reminder that they are not forgotten.
Because of Lifeline partners, children are receiving nutritious meals and families are being supported through their local church. We are deeply grateful for the generosity that makes stories like this possible and for the care shown to both the meals and the people who receive them.
