Haiti: The story isn't over!

Uncertainty. Fear. Instability. In the past few years, that described life in some Haitian communities where Lifeline served.

Resilience. Strength. Perseverance. Those would be the words that describe the local Lifeline Haitian leaders as they have pressed on. It wasn’t easy. And there are still big challenges today. Yet the Lifeline Haiti leaders and staff see where God is calling them to be the light in the communities they love and call home.

Today in Haiti…

  • Schools are safe places for students. It was challenging when some families and teachers felt it was necessary to leave to find safety and stability in other communities. Today, over 600 students are being educated. Yet the current challenge is school lunches: high food costs means that school lunches aren’t always available for the students.

  • Clinics serve the community with care and compassion. After a pause in services, the clinic staff is working hard to ensure gospel-centered care. Today, the clinics are even drawing people outside of the community.

  • Church leaders continue to share the Good News in their communities. People are coming to Christ and lives are being transformed!

The Lifeline Haitian leaders are dedicated to moving the ministry forward! Their commitment to serving their communities remains steadfast. They are stepping up to lead in advancing God’s kingdom, while, at the same time, generating local support to help cover daily operations.

"I hope and pray that God will continue to bless the work that we’re doing and we can continue to impact and transform the communities in even more and more different ways."
