Vancouver Church Plant
But it's spiritually bankrupt, leaving people lonely and disconnected.
As a large city, there are so many communities, so many people, yet too few churches. One way to change that is to plant more churches one by one. Tableside Church is taking a different approach by planting one church that starts multiple micro-churches and incarnational communities throughout their target area.
You can be a part of this new project.
By supporting this micro-church network in Vancouver, families and communities that were suffering from the effects of disconnection can now experience connection with Jesus and One another.
There are three ways you can help share God's love in Vancouver.
- You can find our website here (www.tablesidechurch.ca).
- Follow us on facebook @tablesidechurch or on Instagram #tablesidechurch, engage in our posts and invite friends.
Meet the church planter, Jaron and his family:
Jaron, Robyn, Zaira and Maxon started preparing for this church plant in 2017 then moved back to Vancouver in the summer of 2018. They launched this new church in the Fall of 2019 and have since started 2 communities with about 40 people connected. Currently they are meeting online due to Covid 19 restrictions and plan to resume when it's safe to do so.
Jaron shares:
“The last few years have been a whirl-wind of the spirit guiding and directing our church into what we are now experiencing. I am so grateful to God that he knew exactly what we needed to become in order to survive and reach the people he's asking us to reach”.
Pray about partnering
Jarson shares, “If you or your organization are considering supporting a church plant, I would ask you to prayerfully consider taking part in what God is doing here in Vancouver. People here are lonely and desperate to encounter Jesus but they are skeptical of the traditional church . Would you consider helping us start new micro-churches and incarnational communities that extend God's love to people that aren't being reached?
