Carrie shares:

While at the sale, I met Lifeline’s Connection Manager, Audra; making that connection has been life-changing for me! She heard me say I was going to Honduras and immediately came over to chat with me. She shared about her own experiences in Honduras and we promised to connect after my trip.

The trip to Honduras was life-changing in so many ways! I absolutely fell in love with the people there! The experience softened me, challenged me in many ways, and led me to Lifeline! The night before I was to fly back home, I messaged Audra and asked if we could meet upon my return. I expressed that I wanted to share with her all that God showed me and taught me in Honduras. 

Audra and I met and she introduced me to all of the opportunities Lifeline had. I began my Lifeline relationship shortly after that meeting as a Meal Pack Ministry volunteer. God designed me to connect, nurture and love people, so it’s such a joy to work in the Meal Pack Ministry Centre and to connect with so many families and volunteers! My husband Gino (my favorite volunteer!) and I, love to pack meals together with families! Serving others is our life mission! 

I have felt called to ministry since 2016 and have continually pursued God’s heart as to what that looks like for me. I am so honored and thankful that God has called me to be a part of the Lifeline team --- an organization that models what it truly looks like to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
