Cheri shares:

As a 13 year old girl, I experienced global missions first hand with Lifeline by taking a mission trip to Honduras. It shaped my perspective, softened my heart and opened my eyes to God's extravagant love! Then at the age of 17, I began an internship with Lifeline where the Lord began to reveal to me how deep my passion ran for missions. That passion has shaped my path in life and taken me where I am today, driven by a deep desire to spread His Love, near and far!



Throughout the years, my time spent in Haiti and Honduras has formed who I am. While I've had opportunities to love and serve people in physically destitute situations, it turns out I was the one receiving the biggest gift: God used new friends and the people I met to transform my heart from the inside out. I learned more about His Love, true hospitality, abounding grace, passionate praise and the deep impact of prayer than I had ever known before. It turns out a single meal truly opens a heart to receiving Good News, a single child sponsorship can actually change the trajectory of a person's life, and building a home for a family tangibly expresses the love of Jesus for generations to come. 

All of this international impact has shaped my heart to see my neighborhood, community, and city with a new perspective. Today, I am passionate about connecting people to opportunities where they can make a difference! I desire for others to see how they can serve and love kids around the world from right here in our own community.
