Jose shares:
I am from Panama and started my Christian life at the age of 14. Today, I have been married 27 years to Rosa and we have a son, Christopher. I have planted churches in Panama, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala and now I work with Lifeline Christian Mission in El Salvador and Panama planting churches, training leaders and more since 2005. My passion and love in the ministry is to plant churches and baptize people so that they have a life change and they fall in love with Jesus forever. In all these years of ministry, I have planted many churches, house churches and baptized more than three thousand people.

I love to spend the time with my family, going to the movies, meeting new places and eating a lot of meat. I am a sports fan: my family and I are unconditional supporters of Real Madrid, The New York Yankees, National Team of Panama, The Ohio State Buckeyes and the National team of Germany.

A story that changed my life:
When my wife was four months pregnant she had a threat of hemorrhaging so we raced to the hospital. When we got there, the doctors put her in the emergency room and I waited outside for an hour. When the doctor spoke with me, he told me that my wife had lost the baby. I went into the room where she was crying and I cried with her; we were just waiting to be passed to a special room to have the baby who was dead. But in that moment we cried and prayed and I felt that God was with us. Suddenly I decided to look for another opinion in another hospital. Yet my wife crying told me, “José we have to accept that our son left us,” but I insisted that we would go to another hospital. We drove 30 minutes more to get to the other hospital, and while driving I prayed and asked God to let my son live as he did with Lazarus; I promised to take His gospel to where He sent me. At the other hospital, the doctor put a machine to my wife’s abdomen and then I heard my son's faint heartbeat! I jumped up and yelled and I asked the doctor if that was my son's heart. She answered, “Yes he's your son and he's alive!”
Today we have only one child and my son Christopher is 22 years old. He is studying to become a medical doctor because he loves doing missions. God has been good to me and my family; God answered us when we needed it the most.
