God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good! I am in awe of God’s goodness and His unrestrained love for me. The opportunity to join the Lifeline family is one that was surely orchestrated by a God who sees me completely.

I am so humbled and blessed to be a part of this amazing Lifeline family. After graduating with a degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University in December 2019, I moved to Iganga, Uganda to work with a Christian community development organization. Passionate about sustainability, empowerment, local ownership, and enamoured with the palapability of God’s BIG love for us, the job seemed like the perfect fit for me. As their Communications Coordinator, I was responsible for sharing testimonies and project updates on the ground with supporters in the states. All the while, I was soaking in the adventure, lessons in ministry, relationships with people, and experience in nonprofit operations.

Plot twist, family health issues arose, COVID-19 hit, and before I knew it Uganda was threatening to close its borders. I was emergently sent back to Colorado; after a month of quarantine and a small case of malaria, I ended up back home near Parker, CO. And all in God’s perfect timing, I received an email from the organization I was working with in Uganda about an opportunity in Parker, CO with a nonprofit called Lifeline Christian Mission. Now, I am so happy to be home with my family and a part of a new family at Lifeline.

Emily with Family

I have quickly fallen in love with Lifeline, their mission and vision, and the people that make it what it is. The awe continues as I soak in more adventure, ministry, and nonprofit experience. I am humbled for the opportunity to work with an organization that embodies the love of Jesus so well. I would love your prayers and support as I continue to use this incredible opportunity to chase after God’s plan for me.
