Matthew shares:
Working in ministry has always been on my heart. In college, I had the opportunity to work within my local church; it was there that God revealed a great need to live out His Word by loving others. I started my career in operations at a Children’s Hospital. I enjoyed being able to impact the patients and families that came through the doors. When I first got in touch with Lifeline, I was immediately impressed by the organization’s worldwide impact and I knew I wanted to be involved.
I grew up in Loveland, Ohio and graduated from the University of Cincinnati- I love cheering on my Bearcats! I enjoy playing basketball, hiking, and being active! Cincinnati has a special place in my heart as God worked through so many people to lead me closer to Him.
I am recently married to my beautiful Katie! She is currently in school to be a veterinarian and I love watching the ways that she cares for all of creation. We love finding new coffee shops and watching the birds on our walks. Together, we enjoy serving our community with our church. We also enjoy finding new parks to walk through with our one year old golden retriever, Eve! The Lord has blessed us with sweet Eve who brings us so much joy. She always seems to find new ways to make us laugh and smile. She especially loves it when she gets a little part of a banana or strawberry!
I feel blessed by this opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus within my career. Katie and I hope to show the light of Christ to everyone we meet!
