Because God is working through you...

God is doing so much through you!

Your time serving, your prayers, and your donations are making a difference in lives around the world right now:

Children are sitting behind a school desk eager to learn.

God is worshiped in churches across 8 different countries.

Hungry bellies are filled with nutritious meals.

You see the big picture. You know it's more than just "today" -- it's setting in motion the momentum to transform lives for eternity.

Here is what you have set in motion in 2017:

Haiti:
  • Because education can change a child's future, improving the students’ educational experience is an important focus. Through volunteers serving on our Education Task Force, new initiatives have been set in place, such as the summer reading program, which is rippling through the school with better attendance rates. These are ultimately impacting the entire learning experience!
  • Hurricane Matthew turned life upside down for the communities in October 2016. Rebuilding continues on Lifeline's damaged church and school facilities in Laregale, Torbeck and Vieux-Callie.
  • Due to your compassion, a near record number of homes are being constructed for families! Home building continues for our sponsor children and the poorest families with inadequate housing. Additionally, our homes ministry expanded into new locations to help families who lost everything in Hurricane Matthew.
  • Training and equipping pastors multiplies ministry impact! The former children's home is being re-purposed into a training center for pastors/leaders known as the Mahotiere Sending Center.

Central America:
  • To change a community long-term, you have to begin today with the next generation. Church leaders are being empowered and better equipped to reach out into their communities to minister to the children.
  • The church at Santa Tecla (El Salvador) relocated to a new facility, which enables them to expand their reach into their community.
  • The church at Tegucigalpa (Honduras) sees a hurting community surrounding their facility. By constructing a community/sending center above their church, they realize that they can transform their community for Christ.
  • Construction continues on the CaryHill ministry campus. This provides a "home base" for mission teams and the ministry in Honduras. CaryHill also gives the local churches and schools a facility for retreats, conferences, gatherings, and more!
  • The church in Guatemala relocated to a new facility, while New Day Christian Church (Florida) funded a new vehicle for the church.

North America:
  • For years, Red Sands Christian School (Arizona) has been dreaming of ways to grow and reach more children for Christ. They thought their only way to grow was by spending millions of dollars on a new construction project. But a unique opportunity to grow the school has presented itself, and the city and community hope this endeavor comes to fruition!
  • There are a lot of people who don't know Jesus, as Christian churches are few and far between in Canada. By forming a church planting network, new churches can be planted and transformation can happen in lives and communities!

Ministries:
  • There are a record number of meal packing events and meals packed this year! You have rallied to provide nutritious meals to the hungry, both domestically in the U.S./Canada and globally. Four different meal recipes provide the opportunity to expand use of these meals: local food pantries, refugees in Iraq, etc.
  • Due to your generosity, donations have been given and meals have been packed and sent to Needville, Texas in response to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. These rice & bean meals were also shipped to Cape Coral, Florida in response to Hurricane Irma.
  • New First Saturday meal pack events at our Ministry Centre brings all ages and abilities in our community together to serve, while welcoming people of all religious backgrounds and sharing God's love to them.
  • A used box truck was donated, which saves costs in vehicle rentals for our meal pack ministry.
  • Our mission trip team staff is growing to increase our capacity to host more teams and expand into more countries.
  • A new database is enabling the sponsorship ministry to prepare for ministry growth, so that more children can connect with sponsors and experience God's love.
  • Additional staff have joined the team in Canada, as Lifeline-Canada strives to network and share ministry opportunities with churches across Canada.

Supporting services:
  • Several steps have been taken to upgrade our behind-the-scene systems to enable continued and future growth: implemented a new database, tech support for staff through a local company, and launched a mobile friendly website.  We appreiciate your patience through this transition!
  • new brand and messaging was launched, after taking time to review Lifeline’s past and look towards the future.

And this doesn't even include the daily ministry that is ongoing in our field ministry communities!

Thank you again for your love for the children and people, for praying, for serving with your time, and for your donations! Through these, you are setting in motion a momentum to transform the next generation, as God continues to lay new foundations for the ministry!
