Job’s contagious JOY

"My favorite trips with Lifeline are the women’s trips to Haiti. 

Each year there are many special moments that touch my heart in a memorable way. This January, one of those moments occurred at Lifeline’s school in Leogane.

This was a very special day because every child was receiving a gift, regardless of whether they had a sponsor or not.

One of the children immediately caught my attention; his name was Job. Job’s eyes were sparkling. His hands were clasped and he could not contain his excitement! I asked Emily to help him open his gift so I could videotape it. He kept saying “Merci” “Merci” and exclaimed “Eeee” as he received items from the gift bag. Job now has a sponsor because of the video taken that recorded his contagious joy!

I still smile every time I think of Job’s blessings and all the other children’s joy when they received their gifts presented in Jesus’ name.

Thank you to all the donors and volunteers that make it possible for children like Job and so many others to receive these gifts! And thank you for the privilege of giving us the opportunity to present them! The blessings are ten-fold and Lifeline ensures God gets the glory!"
