Seeing More Clearly
I've been on staff with Lifeline several months now. Recently I had the opportunity to visit one of our ministry locations: Ecuador.
Jesus lived a full embodied life. So, it was no surprise that when I was in Ecuador physically, both my perspective and my heart changed!
Seeing ministry happening in Ecuador gave me a new level of understanding of what Lifeline is doing internationally, which I could not fully understand simply from reading or hearing about it. It reminds me of a quote I read by Aundi Kobler who said, "Thinking back to my basketball days, it is easy to tell someone how to dribble a ball or shoot a jump shot, but it's the lived experience that truly causes the knowledge to come alive."
During my short visit, I was able to observe and talk to local leaders and youth. I listened to some of their life stories, hopes and dreams, and so much more. I became excited about the future for Lifeline's ministry in Ecuador and how it will impact God's kingdom.
I now understand how Lifeline's container outfitting ministry will pave the way for sustainable community development initiatives which will impact lives and meet real needs.
I am excited to see how God moves the hearts of others and this ministry in the coming years! I would encourage you to do the same with one of our mission experiences!
