The Freshness of God in Missions

This group from Journey Christian Church experienced Lifeline's fresh approach to short term mission trips.

After a long wait, we finally had the chance to take a team on a short term mission trip to Tegucigalpa, Honduras, in July 2023.

The word that best describes the experience is FRESH.

Instead of going to the same location where we had taken 7 other teams in the past, we had a fresh experience in Tegucigalpa.

Instead of trying to build a larger team, we enjoyed the freshness of a closer bond in a smaller group.

Instead of the primary focus being on work and ministry projects, we had a new fresh method of home and family connections over a meal.

Instead of working on buildings, we helped build a chicken coop for someone starting a business.

In many ways, this trip inspired our team to see that God has a fresh, powerful mission for all of us to discover every day we follow Him.

Our enthusiasm has already carried over to the church. We are already promoting to bring 2 smaller teams instead of a large group next year.

We value the variety of experiences that every Lifeline mission trip offers. We look forward to helping impact this newer mission trip location in the years ahead.

Our passion for helping every person in our church experience one short term mission trip was rekindled, and Lord willing, it will inspire the next generations to seek the FRESHNESS of God in missions.
