Joel shares:

My first experience with global missions was a ten-day mission trip when I was a senior in high school. My eyes were forever opened to the world beyond me, and something else amazing happened: I met a cute Honduran translator who would four years later become my wife!

After college we lived and served with Lifeline in Honduras for 10 years before returning to the States for grad school and ministry in a local congregation.

Since rejoining Lifeline in 2017, it's been exciting to see now how God has blessed the seeds we helped plant many years earlier while serving in Honduras. It's also been exciting to join what He is doing in many other countries as well as churches in the US.

I'm passionate about pouring into local leaders and building teams that work together well. I like to problem-solve, find systems that help everyone succeed, and help to advance God's Kingdom.
