Growing up Lifeline was always a part of my life. My grandparents (Bob and Gretchen) founded Lifeline before I was born and my mom spent every summer of her childhood in Haiti, beginning at age 12. I went to Haiti for the first time when I was 14 and knew it was special. After graduating high school, I began serving as a summer intern with Lifeline in our Westerville office. I did this for four consecutive years and in this time I learned a lot about the administrative side of Lifeline's Child Sponsorship Program. It was something that I really developed an interest in and enjoyed doing.
In 2015, I graduated from Kentucky Christian University with a BS in history, and had absolutely no clue what was next for me. When Gretchen asked if I could come back for the summer I never thought that I would stay past August, but in July I was offered a full time position and I am so glad I said yes. Lifeline offers people so many opportunities to serve God and this really is the perfect fit for me. I am so blessed to be at Lifeline serving alongside an amazing group of people.
When I am not serving with Lifeline, I am usually at hanging out with my best friend Maggie and Otis, my dog. Whenever I get the opportunity, you might find me getting together with my college friends. I can also be found reading a book, watching Netflix, or catching a movie.
