David CuppDavid serves on our Connections Team.

You keep ministry momentum moving when you support the ministry of our stateside missionaries: our Lifeline staff who dedicate their lives 24/7 to restoring hope around the world. Your prayers and donations enable our staff to be your hands and feet, as God's love is shared through Lifeline's ministry communities!

David shares:

My wife Terri and I have been married for almost 22 years. We have three very active and amazing children: Noah (16), Mariah (13), and Aaron (11), and our family lives in Brownsburg, Indiana. More than likely you will find our family in a basketball gym, dance studio, or football field watching our kids pursue their passions and dreams. I enjoy working out, reading a good non-fiction history book or a presidential biography, and when I can actually find the time, you'll find me hitting a golf ball all around a golf course.

I am originally from a small town in northeast Indiana, and after getting married in 2002, Terri and I moved to the westside of Indianapolis. My undergrad is from Ball State University where I majored in Secondary Social Studies Education, and for 17 1/2 years, I taught high school social studies and was a varsity girls basketball coach at a few different high schools on the westside of Indianapolis.

Upon moving to Indianapolis in 2002, we started attending Traders Point Christian Church where Terri and I were both baptized. During our time there, we served in just about every capacity you could imagine, and I was fortunate enough to take part in 9 different mission trips to Nicaragua and 1 mission trip to New Zealand. I also served as an elder at Traders Point for almost 2 years, and eventually moved into a staff position at Traders Point as a campus pastor for their West (now Plainfield) campus from 2016-2022.

In July 2022, I changed jobs and accepted a role as the adult ministry team lead at a growing church in Mooresville, IN, as the adult ministry team lead.

I was initially connected to Lifeline early in 2022 as I was contemplating a change in careers, and was immediately captivated by the work and mission of Lifeline. The wide-ranging impact and reach that Lifeline has, and the very huge vision to expand the Kingdom of God all around the world through true empowerment of local leaders and schools is something that I believe in deeply. As I learned more about the direction and the vision that God has given to Lifeline, I was even more drawn to Lifeline. The current and potential impact that Lifeline is and will make is so exciting, and I'm truly honored to be a part of the team!
