Shane and McKenzieShane and McKenzie serve as missionaries in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Shane and McKenzie share:

Welcome to our corner of the web! We're the Robisons, and we're grateful you're here to learn more about our mission. Whether you're offering prayers or financial support, we deeply appreciate it. Your generosity fuels our work aiding men and women grappling with immigration challenges in Birmingham, England.

You might wonder why Birmingham became our home base for Lifeline field work. Well, it's simple: God has drawn people from all over the world to this city, and we aim to be a beacon of hope for them. With over 187 nationalities represented, Birmingham is a melting pot, yet only a small fraction regularly attend Bible-believing churches. The need for the gospel is immense, but we trust in God's power to bring light to the darkness.

Our journey to Birmingham began in Owensboro, Kentucky, where we served in youth ministry. Shane was on staff at a local church, and McKenzie volunteered in the high school ministry he led. Our shared passion for serving others led us to formalize our partnership with Lifeline and embark on this mission together.

Now, we're deeply involved in our community. McKenzie runs a neighborhood café in Erdington, a struggling suburb, while Shane oversees a soccer ministry and serves on church staff. Together, we open our home to refugees and asylum seekers, offering hospitality multiple times a week. Our proximity to a hotel housing over 300 asylum-seeking men facilitates this outreach.

Our vision for Birmingham includes launching a Lifeline center, a hub for serving immigrants of all backgrounds. Through this center, we'll collaborate with churches and community members to address both physical and spiritual needs. Drawing from our café ministry experience and Lifeline strategies from the US and Canada, we aim to make a meaningful impact on the vision of Lifeline to reach everyone, everywhere!
